Fly Away flight site: Web Design

“tell me a story about a time you booked a commercial flight…”

The user is a leisure traveler with an openness and visual thirst to seek out new experiences.

They value time saved with booking a direct flight over dollars saved by booking a cheaper flight with multiple stops.

The Challenge:

The design team needed to conduct user research in order to understand pain points and identify areas of opportunity when designing a new website for booking commercial airline flight. Directed Storytelling sessions were conducted with three participants to highlight areas of commonalities and differences which would guide our creating of a user goal statement.

Personas

With pain points gathered from our participants and insights on highlighted areas of opportunity identified, we could now identify who the user of our new website would be and create personas.

These personas will help us communicate our research findings to stakeholders and help us as designers remember who we are designing for.
